November 28, 2011 - Shit Storm

Hi All,
Well those that give a shit...Not too many by the way things appear on my visitor counter.
Anyhow, yesterday we had a terrible wind storm in southern Alberta. Apparently in some areas they measure winds up to 130km and gusts up to 170km. That's crazy windy....lol Some people woke up his morning to find trees, barns sheds etc were missing. WHEW !!!
Didn't do much just tightened down the hatches and rode out the storm. We were lucky, not too much damage here. Some new shingles were blown off but fortunately they are still working on the roof so it will be fixed...no problem.
Had a meeting last Sat in Calgary and met a girlfriend in town for brunch. Was nice to chat with her and see some others at the meeting.
Lots to discuss and some great points were brought up regarding hormones and Alberta health legislature towards transgenders.
Other than the hassle I'm receiving regarding my name change. Hey, things are going well.

November 21, 2011 - TDOR & Community

Hi All,
Yesterday was TDOR in Calgary. It was a very solemn service and I found myself among a great feeling of love and compassion. I'm not alone and were there are numbers, we can gather strength.
A group of us went out for dinner afterwards and we had a great time. I have never felt such belomging and it was a very special feeling. I was shocked when one of he girls knew of a past military budy of mine was a crossdresser. It took me back a bit only bcz this friend is the least likely person I would have expected. Oh, well guess it provs you never really know anyone do you...
Waiting to speak to one of my girlfriends. She text me earlier tday and said she was feeling sad and needed to chat tonight.
I'm really starting to get it. This longing inside that has been eating at me for so long, to be the woman I know I always was meant to be.

November 19, 2011 - Woes

Hi All,
Seems that over the past few days nothing has gone right. just needed a good nap and time to recharge.
Planning on going to TDOR tomorrow. I feel that it's something I need to do.
Maybe go out after for dinner with a girlfriend and perhaps hit a bar for a couple of drinks.
Thinking also about wearing a dress for the first time....could be interesting.

November 14, 2001 - Laser me...

Hi All,
Well, was suppose to have water guy come by today but he pussed out from the cold.
Excited today about going for my first laser treatment. Have to admit it did hurt more than I expected, especially on my upper lip and chin. All and all it was a different experience and I hope in the long run it will pay off. I have to go back in for another 6 sessions, resting for 4 weeks between each session. My next will be around Dec 12th.
I also booked my next appt. with psych for Dec 5th.
Hopeing to hear about my name change soon.

Yesterday I went into Calgary for a meeting and then had a lovely dinner out with a girlfriend. We had great conversation and I left with lots of food for thought and in my belly. So much to contimplate and adjust too. Taking it easy, just enjoying a relaxiing day...

November 11, 2911 - REMEMBRANCE & SACRIFICE

Hi All,
Got up early today was feeling quite excited and apprehensive all at once. I couldn't sleep so decided to get up and start my busy day. Dolled all up and put on a pre-determined look and set aside clothes. Left home with plenty of time to make my way to the Remembrance Svc. After finding a place relatively close by to park I made my way to the Svc. I felt somewhat out of body and tried to allow myself to relax and enjoy the service. Service itself was very good and I saw a few people I knew from the stands. After the service I went into the museum to have a look around. I intended to  just have a quick look around but found myself really taking in this experience as Lesley. It was a surreal feeling and I enjoyed the moment as I walked through each gallery. There were many changes since the last time I was there. I strolled don the hallway to the library, half drawn there for some reason. I walked through the door and saw one of my old colleagues. I made myself appear to be looking around and noticed her leaving so I followed her halfway down the hall before I called out her name. She stopped and looked back at me as I approached her. I stood in front of her and she looked at me before she said; You will have to help my memory, you are? I grinned and said; It's me Lee. She stood there for a moment and then said. Oh, I see who you are now. WOW, you look great!  I almost cried....
We chatted for a short while and then said our goodbyes as though nothing was different. I enjoyed our chat...
I decide to wrap up my visit and head to my next appt. with a quick stop at Tims for a coffee and muffin as I hadn't eaten anything up to this point. I found a parking spot with a 2hr limit close to the clinic. I arrived there about 15mins early and sat at a table to enjoy my Tims.
At exactly 2pm I met my new psychologist. He is a good looking man. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't immediately attracted to him. He had on a tight black shirt that was only buttoned up half way and his muscled chest as something to admire. Not to mention he was quite lovely to look at too. Short well kept hair with blond highlights and beautiful eyes and lips. It was a struggle to hide my admiration. Hope he didn't notice me periodically checking him out. :)
Anyhow, we discussed quite a lot over the 1hr and he was very helpful.
I'm going to see him again, and hopefully over the next few months together we can figure all this out.

November 9, 2011 - Pat on the back & You fool its me !

Hi All,
Took Soda & Denver into vet for dentals at 9:00am. Today was my weekly psych meeting. touched upon some major trauma today and it was real tough. My psychiatrist said I should give myself a pat on the back. I wanted to give him a punch in the head after that session......<ggg>. Rushed home bcz I had the Chimney guy coming out to set up scafolding. Sat around all afternoon waiting.....just got a phone call about 10mins ago. He can't make it today. Will be out tomorrow morning. WTF ! thanks for wasting my day.....Asshole!
Making Shake'n Bake for dinner tonight with roasted seasoned potatoes......yummmmm!
Ohhhhhh yeah, I almost forgot.
Went to Sheltie meeting yesterday evening as Lesley. All & all it went pretty good. I caught a few stares but I felt fairly comfortable. I even fooled a long time aquaintance who introduced herself to me without knowing it was me.......lol She only figured it out when she heard my voice......shocked a few people.
Must be improving on my makeup....lol

November 6, 2011 - Travel & Show Dogs

Hi All,
Weekend  is over and so tired of driving. Back & forth to Red Deer just to  come away with nothing. On the bright side had a nice visit with friends from Edmonton. Puppies did very well for first big trip to a dog show. very pleased with them. Lunch at Wok Box was pleasant.
Now just relaxing and catching up on shows.

November 4, 2011 - Snow & Sailboat

Hi All,
So, woke up this morning to "SNOW"  yuck! Turned on the news and heard that the highway into Calgary slippery and lots of accidents. Decided just to much of risk to go up to Red Deer for dog show. Caught up on some TV shows and took some photos of puppies for AKC reg. a girlfriend brought out her sailboat to store on our property. She's very sweet! We seem to share much in common and similar childhood histories.
Planning on going to Red Deer tomorrow. That should be interesting as many people will be seeig me as Lesley for the first time.

Novembe 3, 2011 - Friendship :)

Hi All,
Well yesterday was quite a busy day. Started off getting up at 6:00, shower, Hair, and makeup. Headed into OK, first stop vet. Then into city for 10:00 appt with the psych. Time to kill before Dr appt so kill time for 2hrs at mall.
See the Dr at 1:30, manage to leave his office with referal for Endo. Hopefully if all goes well should be starting hormones by end month. Meet girlfriend for luch at Fab5. Spend 3hrs chatting until 5:00 and head back to vet in OK. Get home around 6:00. 12hr non stop day. Whewww!
Today much more relaxed. Spent day working on new computer and had disaster analasis out looking at roof. Insurance hopefully will cover some of the repairs.
Watching TV and the off to bed.

October 31, 2011 - New Psych Appt & Deja Vu

Hi All,

So today I called and set up a counceltation with a new Psych. Set up for Nov 11th. Hope he can assist in my transition ie) Hormones etc. He sounded real nice on phone. He's known in the Trans-community. Made a luncheon date with a girlfriend for Wed afternoon. going to a LGBT friendly bar. Looking forward to it.

Had to take one of my dogs into vet. Looks like I will need to Spay her :(

October 30, 2011 - Gay Army

Hi All,
Subscribed to OUTtv today. Watched the first episode and nearly pissed my pants laughing. Must make a note of times etc. On the other hand not much else going on today. Fixed the doggie door out in the dog barn and cleaned up the mess they made their already. Got the baking itch and decided to make one of my all-time favourite dishes (Tuna Casserole). Just waiting for buzzer on timer to go off...yummm!
I'm going to call another psych tomorrow. Hoping he will give me some backing to take to my GP. Get a referral to see an Endo for hormones.
I've watched and heard so many good things about them.
Amazing results...will let you know how it turns out :)

October,28 2011 - Donkey's & Dwarfs

Hi All,
Missed you all yesterday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS. I took one of my male dogs to the vet to be neutered. wish it was that easy for us humans ;) oh, and while your there doc and you make me a vagina...lol. Poor guy though, never saw it coming. He's doing fine.
Today I went over to help out a girlfriend plant a couple of dwarf spruce trees and put a new heater into a water trough for her donkeys. I like spending time with her, she so gets me and I would have to say she my BFF!
Wore my NEW wig today and I really like it. It's blonde and shorter than my other one. Gives my look a more sufisticated and chic appearance.
I'm feeling more and more me than ever before...

October 26, 2011 - Psych, VV & Parcel

HIAll,
Had to travel into the city today for a visit with my Psych. Working on some past issues, that caught up to me. Still a long way to go. One day at a time! Went to Value Village after and picked up a few items. Got some winter shirts and a few pairs of yoga pants. Also stopped in at Home Depot for a light bulb. Got home to find a parcel had arrived from the BF store. My new wig and body sqeem. Love the new wig, very CHIC :) tried on the body sqeem - RU KIDDING ! Couldn't get the thing on, too tight. I checked the package to see what size I ordered. Medium ! The package says normal waist size is measured at 3 fingers above belly button. I ordered online and it never said anything about that on their website. On the phon e I go, talk to sales rep and explain the problem. She advises me that they usually don't accept returns for this specific item. After a bit of persuasion on my part she goes to talk to manager. Manager says that they have to honour the return bcz website doesn't mention the 3 finger, belly button measure. Returning Sqeem for a larger size...scorzees ;)
Still have to wait a couple weeks for the new one.

Hi All,
My nails have been bothering me so I made an appt to get a gel fill today. Also chose a a earthy red colour for fall. Watching X-Factor (live shows). Damn talented people...
Some computer items arrived from Dell today :)
Went out with my natural hair today (blonde). Makeup was lighter (plum & yellow tones). Wore my red shoes :)

October 23, 2011 - Groceries & Puppies

Hi All,
Relaxed Sunday routine. Had to go into town to refill a couple of prescriptions and get groceries. I had an older lady and her husband smirk at me. Didn't really bother me though. I guess I'm beginning to realize that some people  show their fears through ignorance. Planned to BBQ some pork chops but ran out of propane :(. Finished dinner and worked on our 3 puppy prospects (Pasha, Jersey & Tilly). Forgot to mention that II breed and raise Ch show dogs  (Shetland Sheepdogs). It's another great passion of mine. Now watching a little TV and then off to bed.

October 22, 2011 - New Dell

Hello all,

Today started with another 20min workout. Watched a little TV and some taped shows on my PBR. Decided to by a new laptop from Dell. Picked up a XPS 15 for $800. Went through Airmiles so I think I accumulated  about 500 points :)

Oct 21, 2011 - New Glasses

Hello All,

Picked up my new glasses today. I really like them...and in my two favourite colours "Orange & Mauve". Makeup is getting better, but still need more practice. Workouts are coming along. Running on treadmill for 20mins  at 160lbs with my final goal to be 145lbs by April 2012.  Working on my female voice. Trying different techniques and pitches for comfort and sound quality. Gender tucking sucks. I found wearing two pairs of panties works great. I also have found wearing a pad helps give that smooth and flat female tuck. My clothes and style would be described as retro chic. Tight jeans (I have a great ass) :). I love bright colours and enjoy accessorizing to bring out the best.

Thanks for checking out my blog. It is my intention that I will maintain this blog on a daily basis. Please follow me..
Some background on me:
I was born as a boy Feb 25, 1967 in Toronto, ONT.
My parents were Univeristy  students at UofT. I was given up for adoption shortly after birth. In Dec 1967 I was adopted by a couple and raised by them until I was about 3yrs old. I was then abandoned by my mother and  along with my adopted sister was left with my dad. He had to work during the day so we went to live with my dad brother and family. In the early 1970's my dad met a woman and she had a son from a previous marriage. They married and we have been a family ever since. My parents  live near Niagara Falls, ONT. They alsohave a winter home in Ft. Myers, FL. My brother also lives in Ft. Myers and is currently going to school to become a Building Architect. My sister lives in Brockville, ONT and is working on her second marriage. She has 3 kids. I'm retired CAN military 24yrs. Now seeing a Psychiatrist for PTSD and my gender identity issues. I came out on July 16, 2011 and have been living freely as a trans woman since. My marriage is still intact and I have the support of my family and several close friends.
I feel truly blessed...
